Outcomes

In order to achieve our goals the DicSHOEnary Project will produce a set of 2 intellectual outputs that materialize the project objectives, supported by management activities and an exploitation plan that will ensure the dissemination of its results even after the project has ended.

LANGUAGE GUIDE IN 10 LANGUAGES

This Output will compose a language guide with a comprehensive overview of the footwear vocabulary in 10 different languages (English, Turkish, Czech, Romanian, Polish, Slovenian, Portuguese, Italian, Greek and Spanish). This will include explanation used in production, technology, materials, retail trade, design, research, teaching and trading. This output will be used as a background for the future multi-language guide as the major output of this project.

The main task of this Output is to create the vocational explanations of approved set of 3000 terms of Language guide in English and partner languages. The suitable terms could be accompanied by images, pictures, drawings, schemes, available videos and links to websites.

INTERACTIVE WEB PORTAL

The web portal is the communication platform for disseminating the projects results and make the multilanguage guide available, the platform will full run of prepared multimedia dictionary (terms + explanation in 10 languages). The electronic version of the explanatory language guide will be mainly focused on our target group, which have got used to using the internet and web translators to access vocational foreign language.

The Electronic dictionary will offer the users different choices of source material, search routes, and level of detail to meet the user’s needs and demands such as text to speech, sophisticated searching options for less time-consuming processes and dictionary-external linking possibilities which together with storage capability will allow the enrichment of the existing database and ensure sustainability.

DicSHOEnary aims to reach a large number of persons inside and outside the partnership, using different communications activities and channels by promoting the project and its results among European involved and/or interested organizations, and, at a national and regional/local level, by promoting the project results among target organisations and end-users.
